The difference in the grip size between the SF and the Gen 4 (without any back straps installed)is insignificant (read as virtually the same), the only real difference is the grip texture. The standard Glock 30 has a grip that is larger, front to back. The best defense is a good offense, and I'm really offensive.Two very good pistols IMO. My G30 has been the most accurate Glock I've owned, but it is a brick. The Shield 45 is equally accurate and has been perfect through nearly 2k rounds.
