This is my first post having recently acquired a 2007 Gator HPX 4x4, we have been using it for a couple of weeks and it's become evident that something is rattling around the trans axle area I suspect the clutch arrangement, are these prone to being noisy ? I found this thread after searching for a solution to the shifting problem with my 2018 590m. Just thought I'd post to let the group know that JD Clutch Docs repair is legit. With shipping and the repair it was around $200 all in. The Gator now shifts as it should have from the factory. Well worth the money spent.XUV 550 hard shifting. You can also see how the primary/drive clutch has opened all the way letting the belt "fall" down to the shaft. It is not tight and the belt has some clearance on either side when it's at the bottom.
