May 21, 2013. #2. my rossi/puma 92 is a pre safety model. but ive heard alot of good from steves safety replacement. if you want something with adjustment you could get 1 of many side mounted peeps.. though that would require drilling and tapping depending on the model.The Rossi 92 front sight dovetail is oversized. The model has the Rossi rail with peep sight for the rear sight and a fiber optic front sight. Gamo, the airgun manufacturer, currently makes a sling which holds around the barrel and slips over the butt pad. It can be used on rifles and shotguns. If you don't want to put sling swivel studs into the rifle, Gamo may be worth looking at.
